  most of us posters who are here at the moment cant have failed to notice philidephia ponos got a kicking, the guy had a legitamate point, re elders and ms who are still in and who post here.

  what was his crime ?

  he had the temerity to lable them as hypocrites, which they are.. later on jlp brought pps previous difficultys to light, a fact most posters here were probably ignorant off.. anyway that guy got such a shafting for telling the truth about what happens here, personally i think he should be applauded, because he demonstrated courage in the face of overwhelming adversity, which should help him with dealing with his difficultys in his work place, if he can cope with the adversities he has experienced here, he will have no problems in dealing with his (secular) workplace.. i have only been here for 8 weeks, and within that short timeframe i already see the group dynamics of our time at jwn unfold, i see alliances being forged, the subtle use of language and samantics as posters here seek advantage and seniority, and want to adopt common ground, to advance themselves as leaders and spokesman, this mirrors my 13 years of being a jw, it seems to me that ex elders and servants display the same characteristics, they employed as jw,s and expect them to work here, which they do.doesnt say a lot about jwn.. anyway a young guy, still learning the ropes, gets anhilated here its not much of a recomendation to post is it, ?.

  Which regiment were you with in the British Army? How many tours did you do of NI?

  I am curious to know how envy is a british trait? As an Englishman I certainly don't eveny the welsh or the scots!

  He got pasted because of what he said and how he subsequently behaved. With actions come reactions and a number on the board reacted because of his actions.

  I like the fact he has the conviction to say what he thought but then to rubbish anyones viewpoint that didn't agree with his was downfall.

  What negative comments would you like me to say about you? I have no agression towards you although I am little intrigued as to why you haven't responded to my questions?

  Erruption, dynamics occurr in all human interactions be they real world, on here or when your part of the JWs which lets be honest is part of reality. Sorry but its human nature, not just just something that happens on this board!

  PP was anhilated on here for making a brash statement and then reacted even more badly when he got some feedback that didn't support his thinking. Now granted that was his point of view to which he is perfectly entitled but instead of listening to the opinions and view points of others and their reasons and prehaps readjusting his view, he just ignored what was being said.

  If you going to behave like that where it is "my viewpoint or nothing", then sorry but you are not going to get far because at some point you will meet someone who doesn't agree with you!

  As you didn't answer my question I guess your ok with this behaviour? Do you mind if your employees react like this or tell you that they are doing their way even if you want it done differently?

  errr no! how is his reaction here going to help him real life? seriously?

  Honestly, if he slings his toys out the pram like he did here, or throws out comments similar to those made on here at best he is going to find a pink slip coming his way very rapidly and at worse removed from the building by cops and locked up!

  IIRC PP was in his 30s, that doesn't make him young. It makes him old enough to know better!

  I have nothing against telling the truth, infact it would be better if it was told more often and there is nothing wrong with having a view point and airing it but are you telling me that his response to comments was appropriate? Would you validate your family or employees behaving like that if they had a negative comment made about their point of view?

  one of the shows they have is four weddings which happens to be one of the wifes favorites!.

  anyway the premise is that 4 brides go to each others weddings and score them and the bride and groom from the best wedding get a holiday!.

  I wonder if he was comfortable doing this or went through the motions to keep his intended happy and thus ensure he got his oil changed!

  Well season 3 episode 7, one of the brides called celeste is a witness!

  For the 2 weddings held in a church she stays in car and watches on video due to her beliefs!

  For her own its held at a big hall and would be best described as lavish!

  What was more interesting was the reaction of the other brides to the JW wedding service which was very erm netural and apart from a clip of them flicking to a chaper in the bible the only bit show was the pronouncing of them being man and wife.

  I bet the conversation between the bride and groom and the elders must have been fun when they said the tv crews were going to be there!!

  Ann and Marisol came in joint first and won a holiday each!
